Why we care

With growing tourism impacts and other environmental threats such as trashing and illegal fishing, the fragile ecosystem of the Park and surrounding areas need to be properly managed, monitored and protected. We at Flores Diving Centre believe that it is ultimately up to each person, organization and business to behave responsibly and to actively participate in viable conservation efforts both at individual and community levels, in order to ensure that this beautiful Park will thrive for many generations to come.

This is why we support local conservation initiatives, environmental organizations and NGOs in their remarkable efforts to protect the Park. We have also started our own Eco-diving initiative as a mean to allow divers and tourists to get personally involved with the conservation of the Komodo National Park during their stay.
