There is now an urgent need to properly manage, monitor and protect it. At Flores Diving Centre we believe that every person, organization, and business has a \u2018duty of care\u2019 towards the environment. We all need to act responsibly and participate to viable conservation efforts at individual and community levels. By reducing these environmental impacts, we can ensure that this beautiful Park will thrive for many generations to come.<\/p>\n

Conservation is the reason why we support a few environmental organizations in their remarkable efforts to protect the Park. Through our own Eco-diving program, we also encourage divers to join our clean-up initiatives during their stay.<\/p>\n

A volunteer movement that organizes weekly cleanups and aims at reducing trash & plastic through education and greener solutions. Trash Hero Komodo started in June 2015 and since then has organized hundreds of cleanups at public sites. They have removed dozens of tons of trash recycling up to 40% of it. Trash Hero has also introduced a reusable bottle and public refill program to reduce plastic bottle use. Their volunteers keep raising awareness at numerous events and regularly educate local kids.<\/p>\n

We had a fantastic time diving with Mike and the team at Flores Dive Centre. Mike and the team are very knowledgeable, professional, safe, and fun! The whole day was just incredible! Since we stepped foot on the big and spacious boat we were welcomed by an amazing crew and capitan that made our day very easy and enjoyable! We did the fun dive tour that includes 3 dives and we saw a lots of variety of marine life including mantas,turtles and sharks. The guides were all very attentive and professional and helped us trough every steps of the dive.<\/p>\n
